Driving to Trinity School at River Ridge at 601 River Ridge Parkway, in Eagan, Minnesota from several miles north on Delaware Avenue, I drew comfort, relief, and affirmation from the gentle hills, abundant greenery and trees. But my heart sank as I passed over the I-494 freeway, and the imposition of a heavily loaded cell and wireless tower, rose in visibility to dominate the view.
Antenna Search lists this as a cell tower and an antenna, licensed by Telecom Transport Management in Seattle, Washington. The listing offers zero information on the output. This tower is 0.3 miles away, and in line-of-sight to the school property.
The next, closest tower is licensed by Bearcom, 0.4 miles west of the school, which is not visible from school grounds.
I parked in the back where the tower is directly visible and took the following measurements of RF, radio and wireless frequency in the parking lot.
Measurements peak at 5.78, 7.11, 13.24 and 17.45 milliwatts per meter squared. This is the highest radiation on the site and is “Extreme” level per the scale developed by the Institute of Building Biology for sleeping spaces (where people spend the most time).
The bottom line of this data is converted from microwatts-per-centimeter-squared to milliwatts- per-meter-squared, to match the meter amplitude or power density measurement units that I’m using in this assessment.
That bottom line lists the pertinent data for this report.
The sports field is directly affected by this tower, which will aggravate asthma, allergies, heart and nervous system stress when children are playing sports or just shooting baskets in the parking lot. It also takes a constant toll on the children’s immune systems when they are in this area.

Checking behind the building, measurements dropped off because there is a hill which protects some of the building from the constant radiation blast. Otherwise, windows facing the cell tower have radiation pouring into the building interior. The brick constitution of the building dampens some of the blast, but then there would be wireless inside the building and people’s cellphones which add up, though not nearly as consistently high.
All of these measurements in back of the building, are less than 1 milliwatt per meter squared which is hugely improved from the parking lot, thanks to the hill and greenery. However, that is still too high for biological homeostasis of less than 0.0100 milliwatt per meter squared, as equivalent and higher measurements have shown it to be a threshold for developing cancer via long-term exposure.
A place of beauty behind the building offered respite from the nerve-bombarding, high stress areas. The fragrance of this tree is soul-comforting, nurturing, and inspirational, as Creator intended our natural world to be.
The south-facing entrance and western front of the building had levels of radiation to be expected in a suburban area with 90-100 cell towers within three miles.
Closest to the parking lot is highest, at 1-3 milliwatts per meter squared.
Farther west measurements are below one milliwatt.
As I walked and assessed this site, I grudgingly concluded that at a subtle level, we are in World War III. I pray that increasing numbers of people awaken to the Truth and Reality of ubiquitous radiation and toxicity that are breaking down the quality of human lives with increasing rapidity. May we unite, reject unconscious passivity, addiction and self-sabotage, and regenerate ourselves and the sacred land we inhabit for responsible and empowered living, by G-d’s grace and blessing.
